Buying More Sustainably

It’s no secret that consumerism and our throw away culture is hurting people and the planet, and studies show that buying more stuff isn’t making us any happier. We each have an opportunity to make more sustainable choices through what we choose to buy and where we choose to buy it.

Shopping secondhand, buying in bulk and refilling your own containers, purchasing items with less packaging, and choosing quality, durable products over disposable ones are all ways that we can live more lightly on the planet and often help our wallet in the process. Explore below for tips and resources to shop smarter and more sustainably.
